Frances M. Engler • DDS
Dr. Frances Engler is a mercury-free, mercury-safe and minimal fluoride, family and cosmetic dentist. Our practice allows us the opportunity to serve others for the glory of God. She and her staff desire to share information about dental wellness with their patients so they may make educated decisions about their oral health.
Dr. Engler graduated from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry San Francisco, California in 1982. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Science at College of the Pacific prior to entering dental. Upon completion of dental school she was accepted to the University Of Vermont College Of Medicine as a General Practice Resident. As a dental resident she received advanced training in hospital dentistry, general anesthesia and the treatment of the medically compromised patient.
Upon completion of her residency program Dr. Engler then accepted a position as a staff dentist at El Rio Santa Cruz Neighborhood Health Center in Tucson, Arizona. El Rio is a health center for the underserved low-income population of southern Arizona. Dr. Engler started in dentistry with a desire to do missionary dentistry little did she know that the Lord had the United States as her mission field. Dr. Engler met her husband in Arizona at a Bible Study over twenty-five years ago. They then relocated to Colorado to a start private practice and some years later helped start up a non-profit dental clinic for underserved children on the western slope of Colorado.
Through the years of practice Dr. Engler has been a strong advocate of continuing education because it has allowed her to give all families the most modern, state-of-the-art dental care. Dr. Engler has completed extensive hours of continuing dental education. She was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Engler has participated with the following organizations:

Holistic dentistry is a philosophy that recognizes that teeth and associated structures are a part of the whole body. Because of this important relationship Dr. Engler and her staff emphasize the whole body approach to oral health care. We combine sound dental science and technical experience with a concern for the patients’ physical and emotional wellbeing and comfort.
Her whole body healthy philosophy stresses the use of safe dental materials, safe removal of mercury silver fillings and minimally invasive treatment whenever possible. She also works closely with highly qualified health professionals to assist you in your efforts to return to optimal oral and overall health through holistic means.

Suzanne M. Bieker • RDH, B.S.
Suzanne has been practicing hygiene for five years. She has an up to date C.U. education. Her previous thirteen years as a nanny comes in handy when working with the children and her love for serving others with exceptional care is individually tailored towards her adult population. She loves the challenge of understanding her patients on a clinical, emotional, and personal level. Patient education is critical and she believes strongly in giving the patients the tools to better their oral health.
Suzanne graduated from the University of Colorado Health Science Center Dental Hygiene program in 2007 as a R.D.H. with a Bachelor of Science degree. During this time of study, she volunteered at several clinics in the Denver area including: Denver Health, Clinica Campesina, New Hope, Howard Dental, Salud, and the Special Care Clinic at the University. She also spent some time in Public Health and helped in several school systems with the Chopper Topper program. She also had a teaching opportunity where she created lesson plans and taught to a group of Girl Scouts to help them earn their badge. Prior to entering the hygiene program, she went on a Missions Trip to Tepic, Mexico to volunteer in treating children with dental needs.
Suzanne has a lot to offer in the way of experience, as she works part time with Assistance On Call, Inc. This is an agency that staffs dental offices in the Metro Denver area. She has been to over a hundred different offices to fill in for their hygiene needs. This offers an opportunity to continuously learn about different ideas, philosophies, systems, and products. She is able to take these ideas and incorporate some of them into our office. Along with "on the job" education, she also participates in continuing education. She has also worked in the past as a dental assistant and in 2003, had Orthognathic jaw surgery on both jaws.
On a personal level, Suzanne is from a family of twelve children. She grew up in Harlan, Iowa. She had a lot of responsibility as the oldest child. Her responsibilities carry through and are evident in her work today. She worked many years as a nanny and was truly blessed with the many travel opportunities. she recently bought a house and when she is not working, there are many projects to be done. Hiking, Skiing, walking, camping....anything to do with nature and the outdoors are her passions. She loves people and truly invests in getting to know and understand them. Family and friends are a very important part of her life.
